Carrots and IBS contipation

Hi Friends

I am so disappointed, my IBS symptoms has come back since I return from London, UK. I guess job stress and lifestyle (eating habits, quality of food and exercise) is now different that when I was in London.

One thing I remembered was I took a lot of carrots. I have started to do this back home. Instead of juicing it, which I think may have removed the insoluble fibers, I have tried to each it cooked.

I put about 2 carrots, chopped up in a bowl with a little water into a microwave. I put in about 5 mins. The water keeps the carrots soft. Then I add a little salt. I have been doing this for the last 2 weeks with excellent results. My bowel movements have been pretty good. Maybe, you guys can try this simple activity and let me know how it works out.

By the way, I take before I go to sleep. I force myself to have bowel movement every morning.
